Explorer Scouts - 14 to 18 yrs

They are the fourth section of the Scouting Family.

Within West Warwickshire the Explorer Section is a District Section
with 4 different Units who meet at 4 different locations around the district.

The Explorer Units are:

Monkeys Fist Explorer Scout Unit - who normally meet at Alcester
Shamrock Explorer Scout Unit - who normally meet at Salter Street
Sheep Shankers Explorer Scout Unit - who normally meet at Henley in Arden
Zeppelin Explorer Scout Unit - our newly opened unit who normally meet at Bearley
 

At this stage the Young Person has the opportunity to become a Young Leader -
 assisting with another Section within a Group.

The Young Leaders' Scheme helps Explorer Scouts to develop and grow as individuals.
 It allows them to make a valuable contribution to their community
 and give service to others.
The scheme also helps them fulfil the service elements of their awards.
